Meh. I absolutely love Legacy, but without Kosinski it might turn into another Pacific Rim situation.

So true.
I know a couple of Angelenos who love Disneyland and go every chance they get.
We need to isolate the gene that causes this and destroy it.
I'm a white woman living in the imperial core with enough money to visit a Disneyplace on the regular, weep with me.
When you're wealthy enough that this becomes a reason for public tears, you should be put on an ice flow.
First of all, how is this woman's outsized emotional reaction different from some suburban dad painting his face in team colors, going to a game, and screaming his head off from the bleachers?
Second, Barstool is a shithole for many reasons, but they have 2.5 million followers on twitter and they're dumping on some rando tik-tok chick whose videos get less than a thousand views each. Like ... just ... why? Who is she harming?
Third, my dudes, glass houses?
I happen to know there's a least one person here who dresses their kid in official Marvel Brand merch and there's somebody else who earnestly tweets at Star Wars celebs. And you're grown fucking men. Presumably, with jobs.
Let's not fool ourselves. We're exactly like this chick. We just express it differently.
Of course, when I said we just now I meant you.
I operate on a different, and dare I say, more high-brow plane, and never get emotionally obsessive about annnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyything.
*runs away quickly*
It's different because the examples you provided (aside from maybe going to a sports game, because they're stupidly expensive) are pennies (or on some cases, literally free) compared to frequenting a theme park.
And she is publicly crying because Disney didn't do what SHE wanted.
She's allowed to do what she wants, I'm not saying she shouldn't do and/or post it. But I can also say she's acting like an entitled moron.
I would say the same thing if your theoretical face painted sports dad threw a tantrum when his team lost. Which fans often do. And they're morons.
Doubtful. Now, if you don't mind, I have to find some comments about Star Wars on Reddit that I can argue with for a cheap anger-high.Quoting Irish (view post)

All the caption says is a different breed.
Implying that it's pretty different than just being a fan of stuff.
BTW, those people who paint their faces and go to sporting events... are also a different breed.
As big a fan of sports I am, the most I am willing to do is wear a hat or shirt.
