    I love the look and the theme - retro video games! HELL YES! - but the humor seemed a little off. Maybe it's because I don't find John C. Reilly very funny.

    People have pointed out that Bowser and Robotnik are not arcade game villains.

    These people are lame.

    Love seeing them all hanging out together. Can the movie just be about that?

    If not, I hope the film devotes more time to Ralph being terrified by the abject violence of most current video game hits.

    I never imagined a movie or game featuring all these characters could ever be possible. I'm sure they are all just cameos, but still, it's great to see.

    I noticed the two music pieces within the game at the beginning at the trailer sounded very similar to songs from Super Mario Bros. 3 and Castlevania. Not a coincidence, I'm sure.

    Completely agree. Outside of the nostalgic video game characters, I found almost nothing appealing about that teaser.

    Seems to be splitting hairs, like describing Pac Man and Space Invaders as console games because they appeared, at one time, on home platforms.

    I guess you could say it's technically true, but that ignores the fact their heart and soul were born in the arcade. Likewise, in the reverse, with Sonic et al.

    Mario and Luigi bridge that gap, which I guess is why Ralph is so heavily influenced by Donkey Kong.
