I haven't watched enough FNL to really make an opinion of it. Just the first two episodes. I thought the movie was dumb.

mad men > breaking bad, but i love both shows so i can't complain. good stuff all around, this was fun.
Huzzah! Great read.
Guess I should give Parks and Rec another go this summer. Didn't care much at all for the first season.
I watched a couple eps after The Office. Didn't care for it either.
I just caught up on it myself. It got notably better in the second season. Adam Scott is beyond charming in Season 3.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)

Breaking Bad! Huzzah! You done me proud, Match-cut. ritch:
Mara, you are the tits. Infinite thanks for doing this.
There turned out to be quite some variety in the winners, I'm pleasantly surprised. I think we turned out some solid results, well done everyone. And thanks for hosting, Mara.
Good stuff everyone! Thanks for putting all this together Mara. I REALLY need to watch this Breaking Bad thing, I guess.

sorry, was going to do things and then didn't internet for a couple days. Good work though Mara. Not happy with Parks win but that's about it.
Breaking Bad is the only show I followed that won a few. Ha. Guess I got some watching to do.
The Parks win makes me very happy. Most of the stuff that won I've never watched so I can't really complain.

I've been away for a few days, so just got to read through the second half now. So to rightly echo everyone else: Great work, Mara!
It may help that I loved almost all the nominees I'd seen, but it was fun to see so many great individual shows / episodes / people (and variety between them) spread across the categories. Now I just need to sit down and watch Sherlock, Mad Men, Downtown Abbey, Luther, Mildred Pierce and the last few episodes of Party Down and Boardwalk Empire to have a more complete opinion on all of this.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:
Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
Diva (Beineix, 1981)
Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
The Hunger (Scott, 1983)

The categories may change slightly next year, as a few were cumbersome (for instance, having a "best episode" instead of breaking it down into writing and directing.)
