I give up. You're weird.
I give up. You're weird.
Movie Theater DiaryQuoting Donald Glover
Only on MC I'm the weird one, and you're all normal.
I didn't find it funny either. maybe one or two comments total gave me a smile. Too much repeating and explaining the joke.
The routine itself was the joke. He was trying to bomb cuz it was cracking up Bob Saget. Bob was his audience. I thought it was hysterical, and touching at the end when he said a few very nice words about him while choking back the tears.
I kind of stared at it blankly for the first minute or two, and then began laughing maniacally half way through.
“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
Got to see Norm MacDonald and Doug Benson this week. Enjoyed both, but Norm was great to see live.
The new Chappelle specials on Netflix are prime-Chappelle work. His bit on the pimp at Comedy Room will be analyzed word-for-word. Great piece.
Man, YEAH. The first one is not that good. I mean, it's awesome, it's Chappelle, he's a fucking genius, but it covers predictable material.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
But the story about the pimp killed me. And I don't think many people noticed that he's looking at the sex abuse scandals as a consequence of capitalism itself. How using less empowered people is the standard of our society. Nobody else made that direct relation with such grace.
It's hilarious that there's apparently a number of people who seriously think that Chappelle was killed and replaced by the Illuminati.

Watched the Chris Rock Netflix one last night. I love Rock but that was nothing to write home about.
Chappelle announced a Denver show the night before he performed. Pure Chappelle.
Too bad it's $100 and, now in three hours. I'm on a holding pattern in KC trying to get home.
Watched Louis C.K.'s Sincerely last night. It left me in the proper mood so I followed it up with Bill Burr's latest, Paper Tiger.
They were both hilarious and both admittedly had its highs and lows, but C.K.'s was also sort of moving.
Bill Burr might be my favorite comedian of all time.
Him and Norm for me.Quoting Skitch (view post)
I think I'm the same, although I love Chappelle.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
Yeah Chappelle is def in line for GOATQuoting Grouchy (view post)
My fave comedian currently working is Gary Gulman. The stuff he’s doing about his struggles with mental illness is some next level shit.

Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
Doug Stanhope has an incredible bit about that.
C.K. even kind of quotes from that on Sincerely but then goes off on another direction.
Bill Burr is a little too mean spirited for me. He can make me laugh, but I more often just want to punch him.
I've been loving me som Steven Wright lately.
This is also a woman meg, too bad she left. Is probably ashamed , because she liked Bill CosbyQuoting Mara (view post)
