I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

If that were true, they wouldnt have "recently added" movies that were added a fucking year ago. A "random play" from them would be titles they want to pump up numbers on.

And why would you? Who walks into a DVD store anymore?

Remember when we used to have weekly release threads?

i think this was the last one I did.

Did they ever go anywhere with the mythology with The Society? My wife watched it and tried to get me to watch it, to which I said Hell fuckin' no. NO way I'm getting suckered into another Lost show that never gets explained.

It would be nice if Netflix had a leaving soon section. Hulu, too. Seems that out of the ones I use only Shudder and Tubi have that feature.

I know Spinal had a thread up from 2018 when it was on the now defunct YouTube Red, but is anyone watching "Cobra Kai?" I've gotten pretty addicted to it. Cheesy in an '80s movie way, but lots of fun. The Johnny character is interesting / funny as all getout. Trapped in the past, classic case of a Gen Xer who was badass in the '80s attempting to navigate the 21st century.

A boo to you, good sir. While the final season of Hannibal never hits the heights of the first two seasons, I always loved how audacious it was in weaving together experimental art collage--and a fairly steamy love scene--alongside more traditional procedural elements. I suppose there's something unbelievable in most not suspecting Lecter as the ultimate bad, but I found that this series was a great TV experiment in allowing that not everyone would be on its wavelength.
