    So cool for this December:

    "We eventually managed to find them near Biskupin, where demonstrations of prehistoric farming are organized.     Rewatching The Killer for first time in forever...almost makes me tear up. There was such a slim window for this style of Hong Kong action, and its so damn wonderful.

    My animator colleagues pushed "Mr Peabody and Sherman", a movie I knew nothing about and cared even less, so I gave it a chance. It's good! Kind of great actually, despite a few issues I had this is one of PDI/Dreamwork's best movies and went completely under the radar. I love how it makes some effort to spark the kids' curiosities for History and Science while being fun and silly. Good script and polished animation, a nice surprise.

    Heh, I was watching Star Trek last night. There was a fight scene and they actually had Shatner's double face the camera for a couple shots. It was CLEARLY not Shatner, but I imaged they anticipated nobody would recognize him from the distance they'd shot him, because resolution wasn't so good back inna day.

    I notice a similar situation last night with an episode of X-Files.

    Not to mention all the IVL/Celestial remasters of the Shaw Brothers movies, in which the wires and corners of the ceilings on the sets were clearly visible with the higher resolution.

    It's what Netflix thinks you'll rate it. Based on... a lot of things, but what you've rated previous films mostly.
