I think it's the best TV show that Netflix has done. It may also be the only full season of a show I've completed from Netflix.

I’m halfway through the new series Dead to Me, starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. It’s produced by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, and it’s really quite excellent so far. Straddles the comedy/drama line in a way I haven’t really seen before. Career best performances by both lead actresses.

Godless was exceptional.
I'm on the second episode, and I like it a lot.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Also I dug Maniac a great deal, and I am midway through Russian Doll, which is good. I loooove Stranger Things, of course.

They gave way, way, way too much away with that trailer.
I would have been interested otherwise. But we’ve seen the whole movie and every twist.
Totally agree it gave away way too much but the sci-fi guy in me will still watch it.
A Good start.

That is way too long.
Also I really like The Umbrella Academy. It is Wes Anderson meets Watchmen.

Thats...an interesting way to put it! I like it.Quoting MadMan (view post)
My wife is watching The Umbrella Academy and I've caught a few scenes here and there. It's Heroes with garbage dialog and terrible actors.
The comic is great, though. I've seen the show - it's a more standard version of the comic's madness.
Always Be My Maybe was terrible. I'm glad that folks on twitter seem to be finding something redeeming about it because it was certainly one of the most unfunny, badly made comedies I've actually finished in a while.
I wanted to like it, having enjoyed Ali Wong's "Baby Cobra." But ... yeah. It's terrible and not funny.Quoting Zac Efron (view post)
What was most surprising was how badly made it was on a simple technical level. Awkward writing that fails to establish basic character relationships early on and jarring edits that sorta defy space and time (characters in San Francisco are suddenly back in L.A. in between cuts).
I was mystified. There are network sitcoms that are more polished.
I love Ali Wong's standups but no interest in that movie.
Really? I quit Heroes midway through Season 1. I liked Umbrella Academy a lot.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
