But anyway, you asked why we don’t give studios shit. That’s my simple answer: I help pay for all these shitty originals.

That's weird, I was just bingewatching The Leftovers S1 today, and until now Margaret Qualley was not on my radar at all...
But yeah, smells a lot like "Z for Zachariah".
Netflix raising prices again.

Wonder how long they can push this before people sub for only part of a year.
Outside HBO, they might be the most expensive service out there.
I watch the most stuff on Netflix, but i'm starting to wonder if I can live without it and just use the other two guys for content.
I'll stay. Tons of content for me and mine. Disney+ is the first other streamer I'm seriously tempted to get.
Hulu tempts me only for TV. I too am wondering if Netflix is worth it...

Forgot I was running a proxy on my laptop, went to Netflix, saw a promo for an original called "Titans." Connected via my TV, and the show is nowhere to be found.
Has anyone seen this? Apparently it's a live action Teen Titan show available on DC's streaming service in the US, but on Netflix elsewhere.
Looked super low budget and cheesy but now I'm curious.
Yeh we discussed it here. It looks really bad.Quoting Irish (view post)
Duke FTW!
thanks for the link
Thanks for letting me know I can watch this on netflix via my VPN. And holy shit, Europe has Rick and Morty too. WTF.Quoting Irish (view post)
Are you using a commercial VPN or a private one?
When I try to connect through a VPN to Amazon or Netflix, they block me.
Yeah Asian (or at least Thai) Netflix has Rick and Morty for quite some time. Was scheduled to expire once and then it just stays on.
Midnight Run (1988) - 9
The Smiling Lieutenant (1931) - 8.5
The Adventures of Robinhood (1938) - 8
Sisters (1973) - 6.5
Shin Godzilla (2016) - 7.5
Titans coming to US Netflix sometime this month. Cant wait to check it out. Rick and Morty also available on Adult Swim Roku channel for free.
It works on both for me.Quoting Irish (view post)
It's free on FireTV as well, which is my favorite thing in the world right now. Adult Swim Marathons are so nice.Quoting Skitch (view post)

The last part of the Godzilla anime is available. Despite some flaws, I'm very partial to this weird, oddball version of the mythos and the way it presents certain "classic" Godzilla elements. In particular everything leading up to Ghidorah and how the climactic beat-down transpires is definitely not your standard Ghidorah fare, but I found it fascinating. Overall I think they are worth a watch.
"How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home wine-making course and forgot how to drive?"
