Guys, there are so few examples of creatives having trouble operating within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Edited to remove some hurtful things.

"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Venom 2 runtime 1 hour and 30 minutes (via AMC).
I removed a post I made before Skitch's where I said some pretty hurtful and blatantly mean things to Duke.
I've apologized to him privately and it is up to him whether we interact anymore. I understand and support whatever he decides.
Just apologizing (again) for letting something that wasn't even a squabble allow the worst of me to come out.

That looks like The Sims-quality effects. Yet it says "pre vfx." Weird.

Duke you're always deep in the annals of Marvel, what is going on with rights issues? I don't know anything, but it sounds like they have major legal battles ahead to keep their main characters?
I'm not sure there's any merit to the lawsuits. The heirs of the original content creators are claiming a termination notice of the copyright characters. (Which is a real thing; But the creators were working for Marvel at the time, which is owned by Disney now. So they were hired to create content and therefor the rights belong to Marvel.Quoting Skitch (view post)
It's like if I file a patent with my company, the COMPANY owns the patent.. not me. Sure my name is on the patent, but the company hired me to do the work and therefor they own the product.
Oh, thats what the hub bub is about? Well, yeah, duh. So...clickbait.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.Quoting Skitch (view post)
Agreed. But the clickbait made it sound like they all but lost all rights to the Avengers.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
Bad joke didn't land.
I laughed. It was a pretty good joke.
Pretty big revelation in the Venom 2 post credits scene...

Oh fuck. Oh no. I forgot Ma Dong-seok is in The Eternals. As soon as my wife finds that out, I'm going to be roped into seeing it. I need to find a way to keep her away from TV and the internet for the next few months until it is out of the theaters.

You'll be there opening weekend. If you give it a 61 or above then I could be convinced to see it as well.
Will Poulter is certainly an unusual choice. But I like him.

Rumors swirling that Marvel is already looking at plans to replace Letitia Wright as Black Panther, because she is a moron. Sorry, I mean anti-vaxxer.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
What I am seeing as I goggle the netweb is that Letitia Wright is denying spreading anti-vax shit on set. I hope this is true - I just love the idea of her taking up the Black Panther mantel.
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
I agree I'd love to see her play the character, but many many sources are reporting her being an anti-vaxxer. Even causing segregation in the cast / crew between vaxxed and non vaxxed people.Quoting bac0n (view post)

By the by, I looked this up - she is denying that she has been unprofessional on the set.
She is not taking back any of her anti-vax stuff. She has even tweeted it.

Sounds like The Eternals isn't quite a legit winner. Exposition heavy and that Zhao's sensibilities as a director kinda clash with the tropes of a superhero flick.

Well we can't have it both ways.. It's either raved about pre-release (Black Widow, Shang Chi) or a slog (Eternals).Quoting Morris Schæffer (view post)
The reality is they are all probably just 'meh' in pre-release-reviews. .
