I'll spoiler my Avengers 4 takeaways/predictions from that trailer in case someone doesn't want to see it.

-Theyre pushing hard to look like Tony is gonna die, which reinforces my feeling it will be Cap who dies.
-Hawkeye's family was dusted in the snap.
-Who is the female doing VO around the 30 second mark? Possibly Duke's hidden baddy?
-It may look sexy, but those itty bitty little pistols Black Widow loves so much are completely useless outside of 20-30 feet. C'mon. Arm up, woman!
-SPOILER...1:56 Tony is marching with the group...so he gets back from space (we all knew he wasn't going to be left to starve). This sets up the Bay Armageddon ending..."whatever it takes" as Tony heads for the suicide mission, and Cap knocks him back at last second and goes himself. I have no evidence to support, just my gut, and that the trailers keep pointing towards Tony, so my instinct is to look for the misdirection. Not discounting possibility they both die...as they've now set Tony up as so disturbed by past events that the death of Cap in his place would logically put in a mental ward for the rest of his life.
-Black Widow blonde at meeting of Cap Marvel...so that probably towards beginning of film. They should've never changed her from red, imo. Weakest of nit picks, but yeah.

I read it, I just think its far too wild to be a real possibility. Marvel would loose a hell of a lot of its audience imo, but who knows, wait and see.

a tweet on twitter just stated that the final scenes of the trailer are Avengers in "Quantum suits". Any basis for that? If so, there may be more validity to your multidimension theory. Still sticking by my feeling thats a very bad way for series to go either way.

Feige's and Sean Gunn's recent comments implied they figured it would blow over and work out way down the line, but I was expecting an announcement like this a couple years down the line.

Very, very happy.

There's NO ONE you can replace Gunn with and expect the same level of chemistry between the characters. Non one on this planet exists. I'd like to also point out, that Gunn wrote all the dialog for the GotG in Infinity War and End Game.

That surprises me, because I felt the dialogue for the Guardians slipped a bit in IW. Sounded like someone trying to sound like Gunn.

Agreed, some of the dialogue in IW didn't work for me either.

Well there's always a difference between how dialogue is on the page versus how it's then directed, played with between takes, and then eventually edited.

But I still think the group was funnier in Infinity War than Vol. 2, especially Quill when confronting Thor and Strange.

Oh I totally agree the loss of Whedon is felt greatly in Infinity War. Like the Banner, Stark, Strange introduction could have been handled way better.

But Guardians meeting THor was 100% Gunn.

I didn't think so either, but it kinda indicates where their priorities are---they knew for months but waited until after "Captain Marvel" premiered and leaked the news on a Friday afternoon.
