    At this point, Marvel probably could just hold the trailer until after the Avengers release, and still do just fine, right?

    Especially if Spider-Man is the beginning of the next phase.

    HAs that been confirmed? They are rebuilding Avengers Tower in one of the shots where Spidey is swinging. Maybe it takes place right after Homecoming?

    Well you see if you watched both Homecoming and Infinity War, you’d know that in Ragnarok there is a reference to a YouTube video Easter egg contained in Ultron, directing you towards a line of dialogue spoken by an extra in Doctor Strange. They say “she MAY know”, obviously in reference to May knowing Peter is Spider-Man.

    They are obviously hiding something; some kind of twist or story driven arc that stands this apart. I wasn't even expecting Fury to be in this. Frankly, I'm glad it's not a spectacle or looks how we would expect a Spider-man film to look. I'm totally in on the the fishbowl.
