It looks like Lord of the Rings with superheroes, and that's awesome on paper.
Here's hoping the high stakes aren't ruined by the influence Disney will have on it.

There's so much build up and hours of built in history that only an idiot would in any way interfere with anything at this point. Disney won't meddle in any significant way, not now.

This is a great comic moment.
Why?
There actually is the feeling that this is an epic scope. Looks like Thanos can teleport between all locations at once.
So it's not really a spoiler but it kind of is... but really isn't... regarding an upcoming movie.
[] Captain Marvel
X-Men: Dark Phoenix delayed to February 2019, and The New Mutants delayed AGAIN to August 2019.
Weird. I would make Dark Phoenix the summer release and the horror movie the Feb release.
Fox is reshooting it to make it scarier and add another character. But I'm willing to bet that the Mouse Ears don't want it to come out.
Disneywood is alive and well.

I just feel like after Deadpool and now Black Panther, Fox feels more comfortable placing Dark Phoenix (did they drop the "X-Men"?) in February than around the holidays.
I also just kinda want to see it already, especially as the rare breed of person who thought Apocalypse was Top 3 of the series (before Logan came along, that is).
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:
Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
Diva (Beineix, 1981)
Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

Oh fine.
1. X-Men
2. Deadpool (if we are counting that, if not, Logan I guess)

Hey I liked Apocalypse too!
So, uh, I rewatched Deadpool, and yeah, it’s better than any of the MCU films and most of the X-Men films except Logan. Some say it tries too hard.... makes a change.

Some odd Phase 4 news tickling in. Reportedly, there's a Hawkeye solo film in the works.
Where's that source?Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

Fuck. The link they embedded in the article was for a completely different news story. So the article was objectively bad.Quoting TGM (view post)
Shit, today, if I saw a mushroom cloud on the horizon, I'd check Snopes before running.

Avengers: The Death of Captain America ?
If they do Adam Warlock like they've hinted a bit so far, I feel like Caleb Landry Jones would be a good fit. Important note: I know next to nothing about the character beyond wiki tho.

I was thinking of a more hansom dude, since Adam is supposed to be a perfect being. So I was thinking more on the lines of Charlie Hunnam. OR even Ryan Gosling.Quoting Wryan (view post)
