What is the best conspiracy theory ever?
The one about 19 Arab hijackers paralyzing the entire US air defense system, demolishing three buildings with two airplanes and boxcutters and ramming into the most secure building on the planet is my favorite. A lot of crazy people believe that one.

    You mean four airplanes.

    But I hope you're kidding.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I guess.... My friend lost his father in that attack. Everyone is connected to the attacks in some way. So careful who you offend MJ.

No, I meant two planes, because there were only two in New York.

Don't worry, I have no interest in debating this for real, just didn't want the other side to go entirely unrepresented. Not sure how that would offend anyone.

Aw, that takes me back. I love that this forum's long history included us arguing about 9/11 truther stuff.

Milky Joe being a 9/11 truther doesn't surprise me one bit. I remember him spouting some asinine stuff in Barty's president thread.
    Sure why not?

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

The Flat Earth stuff is fun and entertaining to read. Plus nobody gets offended.

    So I'll pick that.

It always amazes me how badly U.S. people react to even the thought that there was more to 9/11 that met the eye.

It's not like they live in a country that once killed a president.

I’m totally open to the idea that 9/11 was an inside job (or at least had inside influence). I just haven’t seen anything that convinced me of that yet.

It is no longer the 1990s so I now believe Oswald shot JFK by himself.

The problem with conspiracy theories is it requires hundreds or thousands of people to keep their mouths shut. Bill couldn't get a blowie in the Oval without it being front page news, and most of the people with "inside information" on these conspiracies have websites that make them look like complete loons.

On that note, the astronauts faked the moon landing because they accidentally went too far and landed on Mars.

Remember that Wakanda is not a real place: It is an imaginary place. Just imagine an African nation that was never colonised, had its own civilisation and decided to develop on her own steam by empowering her people without leaving the women behind. What would such a nation be capable of doing, especially when it discovers that it has some precious minerals that it can sell to the outside world and use the wealth to modernise society without destroying her own culture and way of life?

Sometimes we think that we have two choices to make in Africa. Choice one: We maintain our traditions and cultures and stay backward for ever. Choice two: We modernise by becoming westernised and forgetting our cultural traditions which, by their very nature so we think, are stuck in the past. The experience of the Wakanda people teaches us otherwise. There are really no two choices. The choice is simply one.
