I do hope they kill off the arrow guy though. He is pretty much useless.
Noooo. It would be cheap to kill a human thats barely a meta.

I like this trailer. I think it shows more action than the first. I'm still not sure about the overall tone of this sequel. I cannot get a feel for this flick. I guess thats kind of good though, considering how much I gripe about trailers giving away too much.

I think I'm even more convinced that the Hulk Iron Man fight is going to be the catalyst for Civil War.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I think so, too. I didn't used to, but watching that trailer closely, it appears that the Hulk's eyes are red during that fight scene. That would indicate he's being controlled (or at least influenced) by The Scarlet Witch.

And Tony looks pissed that this all is happening. That could be the trigger, as it were.

Both of these trailers make their movies look like real bummers.
I'm sure it will have bummer moments, but I do hope that they're overemphasizing it for marketing like they did with Iron Man 3.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

It also looks like there's going to be a lot more Black Panther stuff- We see Dora? And the Hulk/Iron Man fight seems to take place in South Africa.

Rumour has it that Marvel and Sony have worked a deal and Spider-Man will be in Infinity War.

In crazier news, Josh Trank has apparently trashed the Fantastic Four reboot set.

This seems like garbage? The headline reads knowingly sensational, and then it never cites anything, eventually pulling from two unrelated, vague, month-old tweets by Mayimbe and Faraci, who responded with this:
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

Also I just really want to see Sinister Six happen before any potential Marvel Studios turnover / reboot so that Goddard gets to have something new scripted and directed on screen, Garfield gets one final go with the character (assuming they still planned to work him in more that TASM3 was delayed to 2018, when the rumoured Infinity War debut would now occur), and all of the clunky seed-planting for it in TASM2 won't just hang there unresolved for eternity. As a finale to everything in the Webb umbrella, paying off a film that definitely doesn't work on its own could at least give it all some future worth.

I still really like TASM2, but I do agree with you in wanting Sinister Six to still happen. Garfield's been a great Spider-Man, and Drew Goddard directing a movie in the Spideyverse sounds too awesome to scrap.

Meanwhile, I was excited for the Fantastic Four reboot since the cast was announced. Now, I'm a nervous wreck for it.

Interstellar rip-off vibes. Also, for something kept under wraps for so long I expected to see something a little less conventional. Some of it looks pretty cool though.

    My initial thoughts as well.

A lot kept under wraps still. Not enough to be excited (unless more is revealed). Probably won't go see this in theaters.

Someone obviously didn't see the Footloose remake! (But seriously, once I saw him in that I went, "Oh, I hope this guy goes places" considering him and Craig Brewer gave such an unremarkable role so much unexpected zest and heartfelt humour.)

Teaser is solid exactly by definition. Really intrigued by the otherworldly stuff (not sure what that alternate realm they get their powers from is referred to in the Ultimates incarnation), since it seems much of the movie will reside there, and I've said again and again how much I like the cast (eapecially Jordan and Teller) and Trank's Chronicle. Now that this first footage is finally out, the specifics of where things are taken can only do damage to its potential or fulfill exactly how sleekly untrodden it looks at its best there. Hoping for the best. (I mean obviously. Why wouldn't I hope something designed to make money that I'm bound to see like this is somewhat daring and unique?)

In tentpole summer blockbusters, a trailer needs to contain one "hellacool" moment to make me ignore the monotonous and often portentous trailer voices. In Days of Future Past, it was the stadium being lifted off the ground. In Godzilla, it was the parachuting down into the city.

This one has... nothing yet. That's not good, though I like the cast.

I'm in the middle of a semester of trying to appeal and be accomodating to busy undergrads. It's ruining all of my rhetorical fronts. I looked at that wording for two minutes, trying to decide if I should switch it...

In other news, I'm mildly attracted to Miles Teller's "yes, I know I'm good" thespian-ness, and look forward to it self-destructing under the weight of mediocre studio heads gutting projects that he likes.

Also, firey Wallace wouldn't tolerate any of that Bodie and Poot sucker-punching.
