    Oh shit!

Heroic Hollywood, a new site founded by former Latino-Review scooper Umberto Gonzalez...
    http://heroichollywood.com/home-1/20...-netflix-shows

Marvel is considering Netflix shows for Punisher, Blade and Ghost Rider....

and NON-Netflix shows for Cloak and Dagger, Ms. Marvel and a Hulk prequel.

Obviously there's challenges but its all jsut behind the scene jargon.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Based off my success in the Fantasy Movie Draft, Ant-Man will be a bust.

Great posters -- but I wonder if they might imply those characters (Cap, IM, Thor) will cameo? I don't think they will, but to the uninitiated, maybe?

They are most likely banking on people making that assumption.

Wait, are they actually gonna cameo or are you saying this is a form of bait & switch?

Apparently Marvel wants Beyoncé for an unspecified role.

    Tom Holland.
    And Jon Watts is director.

His key film credit to date is Cop Car, which only Sundance folks (and obviously people at Marvel, Sony, and other studios) have seen. He also directed a Eli Roth-produced horror called Clown in 2012 (I know nothing of it), did a portion of that Our Robocop Remake, and has been behind a lot of Onion TV stuff.

I'm fine with them going for a fairly unknown talent, even if it reeks of them picking someone with little mainstream experience to be able to control to the nth degree. Especially since unlike the usual Marvel Studios production, this one also has shared decisions with Sony.

But really, they had no particular type of director in mind, which I again, appreciate and remain weary of in equal balance. I mean, Jared Hess was on the shortlist for a while! That could have been amazing to see, but likely would've never been anything resembling his sensibilities in this Marvel/Sony situation.

Yeah, that all goes back to Kevin Feige being the man in charge, like a TV show's EP and the director just being a soldier. It's not quite the same thing since it's Marvel but it's also symptomatic of these big movies being handed to untested indie dudes (always dudes) after one movie (Trevorrow, Webb). Would be nice to have more experienced hands at the wheel.

I get it from a studio control, asset protecting perspective. Artistically it's dicey.

It's strange given that they've had so much success hiring auteury types (Gunn, Black, Whedon). Would say it's more a managerial ego thing than a rational money making decision.

I'd chalk this up to two possibilities. One or both of them is probably true:

    1. Sony still has leverage and they're the folks that thought Webb was a good idea.

    2. Cop Car is pretty good.

Reynolds' Deadpool trailer left Comicon stunned. It got a standing ovation followed by 'again!!' cries.

As someone who has been to Comicon multiple times that happens almost every time a big trailer is shown. Most of those films turn out to be garbage.

There's a bootleg linked on the front page of Reddit.

    Trailer was decent.
