Could it be that they just swooped in and snagged what Sony was already developing?
Made a few minor tweaks to reconnect it to the MCU and boom, ready to film?

No way.
I'm actually anticipating the Sinister Six being the villain for Spidey.
Oh cool. William Hurt ("Thunderbolt" Ross) is in Black Widow.
Also, I found this interesting. https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/mar...tv-1203349869/
Power move by Feige.
"According to multiple industry sources who spoke with Variety, the perception throughout the entertainment business is that live-action productions will be mostly if not completely moved away from Marvel Television, headed by veteran exec and producer Jeph Loeb, as Feige’s unit ramps up production on its own Marvel series projects."
"Variety reported in 2014 that the budget for the first seasons of “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones,” “Luke Cage,” and “Iron Fist” would be $200 million total. With each season consisting of 13 episodes, that comes out to roughly $3.8 million per episode"
Budget for the Disney+ series will be $25 mil an episode....................... ..... 10x more than the Netflix series.
But only half the number of episodes. (Still impressive as it puts these shows into "Game of Thrones" spending territory.)Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Curious that Marvel TV will continue to make shows outside of what Feige is doing, though.
I'm actually glad the Marvel shows will be half the number as they did for the Netflix shows. Most of those really draaaaaaaged down the middle.
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
I never finished a season of anything. Closest I got was Jessica Jones. Although I didn't think there were that many.Quoting bac0n (view post)
It's official. Kevin owns all things Marvel (including TV & publishing)

A big hell yes to both!
Probably the wrong thread to put this, but I'm very happy to see they will be using Zemo; I wonder if this was the plan from the start or they thought of it after the fact.
Look. I like Marvel movies. But going to 4 movies a year is excessive. I hope Fiege isn't biting off more than they can chew.

I have finally discovered trans' true identity. THE GIG IS UP, MAN
After we finally get the Snyder Cut of Justice League, the next comic book director's cut I'm gonna wanna see is the Trank Cut of Fantastic Four.
I want the Ayer cut next, then the Trank cut.
Why are people still talking about this. I saw an article in Forbes the other day talking how WB should just release it. Why are people going on and on about this?Quoting TGM (view post)
Because people genuinely want to see it.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Because people directly involved in the production keep implying/promoting that it exists.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
That makes sense. Also William Hurt rocks.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

New Spidey-Verse and Ant-Man 3 both sound great to me. I was worried they were not going to do another Ant-Man movie.
