I don't understand people's complaints about Oscar Isaac's Brit accent in Moon Knight. There are a ton of British accents, and that's definitely one of them. It's fine. Some people were comparing it to DvD's in Mary Poppins, for god's sake. It's obviously nowhere near that. I'm convinced lots of people have absolutely no ear for accents; this dovetails with my firm belief that most people have no eye for faces and no eye for what constitutes good cgi versus bad.

First ep of MK is a delight. Already loving the feel of it. Isaac is fantastic. Looking forward to a fun adventure.

Although he can do this material with his eyes closed and hands tied, Hawke is still terrific in this.

This is gonna make full use of Hemsworth's charisma and dumb-sweet geniality. Shocking that it's only a teaser given how close it is tho.

Bored to death with girl power jokes but other than that it looks fun.

    She-Hulk
looks fun too but I subscribe to the general feeling that that CGI has to be unfinished.

New Thor is complete tonal whiplash. Screeches between puerile and effectively creepy with wild abandon. Chopped to hell in editing. Bale is mostly great, unknown if he was aware of what movie he was doing, still underused. Lots of missing material and feels like it. The good is pretty good. The awkward is an endurance test. Waititi swung for the next county over with the confidence of someone who thought everyone was in sync with his humor and style. Seems everyone has a breaking point. No time to really explore the poignant material or marinate in it before we're back to screaming goats.

Those scenes of characters in grief...oof. I'm gonna be a mess during (at least) its first act for sure.
