Batman Returns is a visually excellent Burton movie that's borderline ashamed to be a Batman film, which makes its story an odd mixture of dull/dumb/toyetic Batman tropes commingled with Burton's fantastic carnival of the grotesque (back in 1992, when Burton wasn't self-parody). I'd agree that it's probably the best of the Burton/Schumacher era, if only because it's the only one where the production design, thick as it is, doesn't completely overwhelm the possibility for pathos.
The SNES game was f**king tight. Nice big sprites and successfully carried over the Burton style.

I am very surprised that they went with Avengers: Infinity Plus One.
I'm less surprised that other sites couldn't help themselves but put the title in THEIR videos when Marvel so clearly went out of their way to make it a surprise.

Teaser is fine because it does its job, teases. But I'm not blown away by it. I don't think it really gives us anything we didn't already know or predict. Looking forward to full trailer.

No, not really, actually. I treat them as separate entities, to be honest. I mean, The Wild Bunch is my favorite film of all time, and I don't really care that it is being remade. Doesn't stop it being the best of the best.

I dont disagree about remakes, but I'm talking about a translation from different medium. Theres no book you love that if it was turned into film and the core aspect of what made a character that character was altered, you might call foul? I'm not talking about rage freak out net nerd meltdown spittle spewing apocalypse...I just mean like, hey that's weird.
I dont hate those movies. Can totally enjoy them. Just as a fan say hmm that's off.

trans do you dislike comic books in general as a medium? Or specifically superhero stuff?
The latter I can certainly understand and empathize with, but writing off the entire medium seems a bit closed minded.
