Looks like The Skrulls, based on Capt. Marvel screen shots.

    It's gotta be Doom.
    Sure why not?

STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9

I could only picture, Thanos is dead, and then someone like Galactus or Doom walk out.

Does Silver Surfer get to be part of the MCU? That's someone I'd like to actually see.

After the Disney / Fox merger, yup.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Cool. Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie are expected to reprise their roles in a series for Disney's streaming service.

Rumor is, Travis Knight, director of Bumblebee and Kubo and the Two Strings, the latter of which I really enjoyed, is the front runner to director GotGv3.

He was also the lead animator in ParaNorman and Coraline, two other films I really enjoyed.

100% fine with director of Kubo and Coraline being in command. Finding out he directed Bumblebee...expectations just went through roof.

Captain marvel trailer will be tonight on Monday Night Football

Avengers will be later in the week, likely on Jimmy Kimmel or the Morning Show.

Some good some meh. But I think it'll be a fun time. Hope those line readings are trailer-only, 'cause yikes.

Those line readings are terrible. I think I'll skip this.

Me neither. Super generic. Not much going on. I said in the other thread, unless they are trying to hide a ton of stuff, this doesn't look very good.

I almost want to avoid it because it feels like something in that movie will make it obvious on how they'll overthrow Thanos in the next Avengers...

When rotten votes do inevitably show up, I'll give the reviewers the benefit of the doubt and assume they simply weren't in the right mood for it, or just having a bad day that even a movie as joyous as it couldn't resolve.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

I had no idea Lord/Miller were involved! Interest piqued. And also peaked.

I didn't know it was Lord & Miller either. Interesting.

Also, the praise from "top critics" surprised me:

After a solid decade of Marvel movies modeled on the same template, it's a thrill to watch one that's allowed to find its own rhythms, to play with form and content..
The film's wild and contradictory aesthetic - elements of which clash against each other like some kind of dissonant cartoon jazz - dazzlingly explodes the outmoded idea that superhero movies have to look a certain way
If this kind of risk-taking and artist-driven creativity can exist in Hollywood's biggest money-making genre, then our superhero movie future is filled with hope
    https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/spi...pe=top_critics

I think I need to see this now.
