So does that imply Kosinski is using the same projection technology he did in Oblivion when Cruise is shown in the cockpit?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I still do not believe Cruise is flying one of these jets on his own, and I will not believe it until they come out and explicitly say it. The helicopter I easily believed. The jet is a totally different animal.

Haha kinda insane right. Still, he clung to the fuselage of a plane in take-off. Surely, flying them is easier.

Literally anyone could be strapped to the outside of a plane. Zero skills required.

Flying a military aircraft? I don't buy it.

The actors are in real jets but they're in the back seat, which has been made up to look like they're in the front seat flying, I believe. I'm sure TC tried, but they were not allowed to actually fly the jets.

I believe TC is in a jet. I believe said jet is flying for real. I just do not believe TC is in solo control of a military aircraft the way he was a helicopter in M:I.

Oh yeah, we're on the same page. He's not flying it. But you know he lobbied HARD for permission. And he probably thought he'd learn to do it in 6 months or something.

Cruise is insane and has done stunts that probably make his agent, loved ones and his insurance people very nervous.

It's so weird in hindsight that the finale of the first M:I was done largely through CGI.

Ha! To be fair though, I dont think theres remotely a way to play with a bullet train for real other than just hanging on.

Yeah and it did get just a tad too outlandish when the chopper enters the tunnel and Hunt does his 'red light/green light' thing. Great CGI though.

Yeah, but the FX hold up, still do I think, so it's kinda genuinely thrilling too.

One day we'll get the movie.
    Blog!

    And it's happened once again
    I'll turn to a friend
    Someone that understands
And sees through the master plan
    But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well, I guess this is growing up

Apparently the car that was stolen from Tom Cruise last week had a copy of Top Gun Maverick in it.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."
