Too many awesome Underworld songs out there for me to count. Every time I hear Cowgirl, it takes me back to a time in my 20s where my friends & I would hit the clubs every weekend, close the places out, get some nachos at a divey mexican joint afterwords and not get to bed until close to 3am. Those were good times.Quoting Daniel Davis (view post)
Underworld has a new song out that's pretty good, Downpipe.

I'd like to change my pick to Flying Lotus's "Do the Astral Plane". I've been listening to this album non-stop for the past few days, plus this is far more danceable than my first pick.

Thank you Mr. bac0n, for what's shaping up to be an annual tradition, hmmmm?
Do you have a DJ name? For the amusement of this forum, you need one. DJ bac0n is just too...bacon-y.
It took Daniel a couple of years (seemingly) to get the perfect avatar, right? Surely we can christen you with a DJ name before you have these songs mixed down.
Now taking suggestions.

Quick Status Update: I got all the songs, and the order is pretty much set. I've been experimenting with ways to mix them together and stuff, and I'll be doing some practice runs over the next few days to see how long this bad boy is going to turn out. If it looks like I have room for more songs, I'll let you guys know.
Fave songs so far:
- We Are The Ones (The Coup)
- Off & On (Roisin Murphy)
- Dear Sheila (Fase)

Cool, I'll check it out. But in the interest of balance, if we have room for more, I'm gonna request for stuff outside of the electronica umbrella of genres.Quoting Daniel Davis (view post)

Probably a good idea.Quoting bac0n (view post)
Another status update: I'm about done practicing on the transitions - I think I have them down pretty well. I'll try and have a mix out by the end of the weekend.

An apology is in order, guys. These last few days have been difficult. I won't go into the details, but rest assured the mix will be out soon.

Okay, dry run has been completed. Tomorrow I'll do take one. Friday I'll do take two. Saturday I will post whichever of the two takes I find sound better.
Get ready to shake that ass!

Take One is in the bag, and I'm pleased with the results. Tonight I'm gonna try to do better, and listening to the mix has identified some spots I can clean up. So, look to see a file for you to download late tonight or early tomorrow!
In the meantime, any of you graphic design wizards wanna take a shot at a cover?

sorry for the constant delays, guys. Weekend got away from me, as weekends can some times. I'll have the second mix done tomorrow night, promise.

Pardon my ignorance -- I've never participated in one of these before -- but are you talking about organizing the songs, or is there something more I'm missing?

He's making them into one good mix. I still think his segway in the first one from Roy Orbison into ELO is one of the greatest things ever.
Ah, OK. Just checking.Quoting Thirdmango (view post)

Heh, my track is from where Mystikal sampled from. All cool. Listening to it now from the beginning.
