    But isn't this, at the very least, 5 years too late?

    By the time this is released, who is going to care about a Borderlands movie?

    As a Borderlands outsider I associate the franchise with cel-shaded graphics, numbers popping out of enemies' heads, and fuck-loads of crazy guns. The first two things may not translate to the screen, but the fuck-loads of crazy guns part is a solid foundation for a dumb/fun film franchise.
