It's amazing the amount of movies that exist establishing that Jason Statham is very good with cars.

It's amazing the amount of movies that exist establishing that Jason Statham is very good with cars.

In this business, you get steady work if you don't mind being typecast. I'm sure Vin Diesel got a ton of these, too (xXx is technically one) but he decided to expand. Statham doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who would say, "Well, I want to try something different as an actor."

Watched this because of a review on Davis' site.

Features a lot of the right kind of action violence, but this is the wrong kind of movie for it. The story tries too hard to be this reflective, soul searching, killer-with-a-conscience kind of thing, which doesn't work with the bone crunching, artery popping, blood spewing violence.

Good movie for Statham fans. And Ben Foster is always good. Both of them deserve bigger, meatier roles in better movies, though.

The Stath just keeps churning out these unforgettable masterpieces, but every so often I think there's more to him than just this sort of stuff.
