Books of S. Craig Zahler (Director of Bone Tomahawk, Dragged Across Concrete)

Has anyone read his books? I didn't realize he was an author until a few months ago.

I started reading Wraiths of the Broken Land, and it's moving along quite well and fits in with his movie-style pretty well. I'll definitely be checking out his other books if it finishes well.

Wraiths of the Broken Land is starting out as a mean Western where a group head to Mexico to save their sisters who've been kidnapped and put into sex slavery. The imagery of the main villain with a wooden nose fits right in with any horror movie. Definitely eager to see where this goes...

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

    This Wraiths book...

Some of the dialog is a little smarter than how I picture the characters, but the scenarios are as thrilling as any movie, and the violence is definitely vivid. I know this has been picked up to be a movie, but... damn... get it in production. I think it'll translate to screen very well so long as they don't get too scared of some of the imagery.
