Fast, Furious, and Fossilized
Colin Trevorrow will write and direct the third movie.
I actually had to pause and look up who was directing the 2nd movie - and turns out, it's not Colin. It's J. A. Bayona.
Its why I'm looking forward to part two. Jurassic Park needs more horror elements. The very first JP scared the shit out of me.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Edit: The Impossible doesn't get enough praise.

This might've been posted before, but as far as JP think-pieces go, this was an interesting take on how aspect ratio choice impacts the awe of movies like this.
CLICKY.
It's great.Quoting Skitch (view post)

I didn't see the new trailer, but this GIF is really amazing. Reminds of a scene Steve Alten's MEG book.

Got tickets for Saturday night. I'm unreasonably excited. Bring it on!
@Duke: That poster is just off. Too busy. Wouldn't hang it on my wall.

Agreed. It's bonkers.
It looks like a parody of modern blockbuster posters, ie Marvel. Not sure how well such a poster works for a movie that's not itself parody. (Not intentional, at least)

... Unless it is?

We will make you like us.
Not by writing good scripts, obviously. We will do anything but that. We're that committed.

I wonder if there's a point at which people tire of Goldblum's schtick.
ETA: I'm sure "key roles" will mean extended cameos a la Ford and Hamill in the Star Wars movies. (Sam Neill is 72 and seems pretty content drinking wine and hanging out on his emu farm or whatever so I can't imagine he'll be around to do substantial work.)

Yup, still precisely zero interest in seeing the next Jurassic World.
Ha, turns out that's been around since September. Better than Jurassic World.
I was surprised too, especially at the toddler aspect... this is the kind of threat I want to see in a movie. But if this is how the third movie is going to be, (And what Lost World should have been) BRING IT ON.
Yep. Like I said in JW2 review, the best thing about the whole movie is where it leaves the universe. But in typical JP fashion it has to have one completely dumb thing in it...where did the second bolt come from? You can't reload a crossbow in half a second lol
I'm in favor of the shorts as a concept but that's just plain dumb and bad.
