It's going to be weird seeing Hamill and Fischer again after all these years. Not even sure whether they're still able to act.

Hamill has been doing a fine job as the voice of the Joker. I dont think he'll be rusty.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

That's true, but live action in front of the camera is surely a different matter. That said, I also don't believe these oldtimers are gonna have major roles.

Well, one of the rumours is JJ Abrams threw out the old script to write one that focused on the oldtimers more. We'll see soon enough, I guess.

Well obviously it'll be 30 years after. That way they can have the fan service of having all the old cast in it and not having it be weird that they're all old now.

Plus, it's...you know...30 years since the last movie.

So apparently this has already begun filming, despite not having a cast or final script yet.

This has got to go down as one of the strangest productions in a long while.

    Well, some.

The new Star Wars -- episode 7 in the nine-picture franchise -- has already begun filming and most of the cast is now in place for the movie, Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn revealed April 2. “We have a lot of them [in place],” he said about the main actors, whose names have not been disclosed. “We’re just not completely done yet.”

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Such BS. This is JJ we're talking about. I'd be surprised if the full cast list wasn't revealed at all.

Seems more and more they're going to wait until "Star Wars Day" which is May 4th. Though it's a Sunday this year, which isn't the best day for a big press announcement. Who knows. Maybe they'll never tell us.

Considering Abrams already said that the main cast are all a bunch of unknown newcomers, they probably don't see the value of doing the usual cast reveal process since no one's gonna know who they are. They'll just wait until they have footage of them to show.

This is new Star Wars, a cast and script are almost entirely unnecessary.

I'll bet anything they already have some totally marketable games and toys though.

Mark Hamill sighted in London. Apparently lost a lot of weight to...get in shape for his return as Skywalker?

John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow plus original trilogy cast officially announced.

Some solid actors in there, really excited. Serkis probably as a mo-cap character, right? Getting pretty geeked for this movie.

EDIT: Quick trigger finger there, Morris.

I was hoping they keep Oscar Isaac open for Dr. Strange, but I suppose he can do both.
