I've never seen someone pull a Lucus until now, but I have seen plenty of Speilburgs, McKellans and Petersons.
I remembered it because it's baffling - there are numerous people named "Lucas" and no "Lucus" that I know of, so not knowing the spelling is irrelevant. I did a quick search, and found that MadMan used "Lucus" nine separate times, and two others did the same on unrelated occasions, which is hilarious.

    Please note Lucas's involvement.
If i remember well, it was Lucus that demanded a complete rewrite of the Indy 4 script and delayed the production. And we saw how brilliant that turned out.

I like the spelling. Gives it a nice "mucus" feeling.

I think it's easier to just rename Lucas to Lucus. I'm calling him that from now on.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Indiana Jones coming to theaters again as well! In 3D!! To be honest, I'd love to see Raiders on the big screen.

Not related to 7-9 but since merging movies in 1 thread is ok :P , Star Wars Episode 1 release date in 3D

Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox announced today that the 3D theatrical launch of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace now has an official release date -- February 10, 2012! Set against the thrilling and exotic backdrop of a "galaxy far, far away," Star Wars is perfectly suited to the immersive 3D theatrical experience, and Episode I delivers some of the Saga's most stunning and spectacular sequences -- from the Naboo invasion to the Tatooine Podraces to the climactic lightsaber battle between Darth Maul and the Jedi.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Episode I would have been better if stupid Jar Jar was cut from the movie. At it stands, I like it better than most do.

Jar-Jar is both terrible and the best part of the movie.

    You know what?

Say what you will about the films themselves, but I think the prequels featured some of the best music of John Williams' entire career.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

People who think Jar Jar is what ruined Phantom Menace are mistaken.

I'm confused. Why do we not have four different threads; three for episodes 7, 8 and 9 and another for episode 1 in 3D? The Upcoming Film Emporium is just not the same when it's not convoluted and overflowing with stuff I don't give a crap about.

Because the rest of the film is equally misguided and terrible?

Biggest disappointment in The Phantom Menace is how useless Darth Maul ended up being. Us nerds had high expectations out of that one.

Biggest disappointment was how he died... He can fight two Jedi at once but he has boggly eyes when Obi Wan floats over him, lands and swings his lightsaber like a baseball bat....

Nearly every Williams-scored movie features some of the best music of the man's career.

Exactly. The whole thing was ill conceived from the get go.
