    I finally saw Rogue One.

    Did not like it.

I'm wracking by brain trying to figure out why people like these new Star Wars movies. They're not good.
I was won over by the Vader scene. It’s incredible.

The movie is “meh”, but that moment sweetened everything before I left the theatre, and tricked me into thinking I had liked the film.

Now I just rewatch that one scene on YouTube.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

That scene is cool. And I did like how it ends right where A New Hope begins.

    But that was it.

BB-8 is better than R2D2. Has this been said?

Yeah, Rogue One has not settled well with me. I like it conceptually and texturally but not on any deeper level.

Rogue One is....fine. Its not worth the effort of arguing about one way or the other.

My time was not wasted... nor was it enlightening.

It's my bid for the best-looking Star War anyway. That ain't nothing.

This doesn't strike me as outrageous because they're essentially the same character (and more personality than character).

One could make that claim about any one of the "Star Wars" movies. So?

Stand alone sure. But it was the combination of 3PO and R2 on what made it work.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I still think this is accurate.

I'd still rather watch Rogue One than Attack of the Clones.

Same, which is why Ehrlich's ranking is so accurate. Clones is by far the worst.

I didn't think it was outrageous. Just wanted to see if it'd been discussed because I assumed some might agree and some might disagree with me.

Duke, that's a good point. I was thinking more as a direct comparison since they, as Irish said, are clearly intended to be the same character. I do think that bb-8 has more inherent personality based on his design, which doesn't require someone like 3PO to do all the emoting.

Hmm. I took that as the Clone Wars movie and he lumped all the prequels in together. But now I am noticing the numbers and he isn't including Clone Wars at all.

I've seen Ehrenreich in that Howard Hughes movie with Warren Beatty. It's a substantial role in a meh movie but I didn't see anything wrong with his performance. He's all wrong physically, though.

I picture Ehlrich as a guy who admires clicking the send button after each one of his 'clever' tweets.

I'm constantly surprised that fans prefer Force Awakens over Rogue One. I should maybe re-visit them, but Force Awakens is so lame. It has basically no ideas of its own.

Rewatching scenes of Rogue One, and it's pretty damn good on its own. Some boring passages, but it's a good, separate story. It's improved with me.

John Williams' final SW score will be Episode IX.

Me too. I forgot everything that happened in TFA literally right when I walked out the door. Did I even see a movie? Who knows.

Force Awakens is fairly up-front with its problems and issues from the start, while Rogue One is better at lying, which makes it all the more frustrating when I step back. What's worse, a first date that doesn't go anywhere or a fourth date where you realize they were bored the whole time?

The first date. At least by the fourth date I assume there was some action.

The True Star War Starts Here.

They really, really should have just let him do 7-9. I can guarantee you there wouldn't have been such a fiery shitstorm of hate if RJ had written all 3.
