a suggestion on a bad book.

i want to do something different for my book review column, so i'll write a review for one bad book. any suggestion? i want the book to be bad because of the writing not because of the moral or because it wants to please readers and fans. so a pop book might not be what i'm looking for. preferably famous and well-known. a perfect example is some short story collections by jeffrey archer whom i love to despite.

The Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller

Or, if you really want to punish yourself, something by Augusten Burroughs

thank for the suggestion, but as said i don't want to do a pop culture book. as long as a book is written to serve somebody and it does marvellously well, any comment on it will be toward the culture rather than the writing. the same goes for dan brown.

from what i heard, tBoMC might fit the bill.

I took one on it where we studied Middle English and learned how to speak and read it appropriately. It was so swyving coole.
