There is a new trailer out, but I don't think it is online yet.

    New pic of Daenerys:

One more from the first episode:

Yeah, that was pretty lame. And I really hope that isn't the color palette. At least, not until Winterfell hits winter's stride. And obviously at the wall.

That was kind of awful. But, at the same time, it didn't really show anything.

I'm finishing the book this week. I'm reserving judgment until I'm done, because so far there's stuff I love and stuff that has me feeling cautious.
    ...and the milk's in me.

I'm always curious about these statements: what's awful about a teaser for a teaser that doesn't show anything? I'd say its existence is the worst thing about it - I just hate useless non-trailers. I'd rather wait for the real thing no matter how long it takes.

They couldn't find a way to make Sean Bean look a little less like Boromir?

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

So my girlfriend found this Game of Thrones drinking game board which we liked, but it was butt ugly.... so I made my own version, using the same concept and text. Then I printed it out on 18"x22" canvas this morning. (images linked because of S1 spoilers)

This show always impresses me with its visuals, but tonight featured some particularly beautiful photography. The scene between Littlefinger and the crying whore, the horseback ride with Theon and his sister, and the priestess's seduction were all really stunning.

They are certainly deviating from the book a lot this season. The biggest change is the handling of Stannis. Not sure if I like it so far.
    Sure why not?

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

If you don't have the book that lets you know the family trees this site:

    http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/...f_Thrones_Wiki

Has helped me out a lot. It's specifically for the show so it does contain spoilers for the show but it doesn't contain spoilers for the books so that's nice. Most characters near the bottom have family trees.

I'm surprised it took them that long to get teh Van Houten naked.

I heard the plan for the rest of the series will be to mix and match scenes from all the books so far, instead of one book : one season.
