I just finished watching the pilot on Facebook, which is available for the next 80 or so hours. Very promising start. I'm a sucker for anything Joel McHale though, so my opinion is biased. Still, it had a couple good laughs and set up what should be a fun premise to work with.

I hate that music they play in the commercials.

I thought it was hysterical. This could be the new 30 Rock.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I'm glad you posted about this cause I just watched it and loved it. But like KF, I am a sucker for Joel McHale.

How big's Jon Oliver's part in this? I want to know if his funny will balance out Joel McHale's anti-funny.

He's not in it. Now go away.

    Oh.

Actually I watched an episode of The Soup recently for the first time in a long while and decided he's perfectly fine in that role. But KF loves him so I feel like I should hate him.

Oliver won't be in it that much:
The Daily Show's John Oliver will appear in at least two of the first 12 episodes of Community, NBC's forthcoming comedy about community college.

    I'm so so sorry, Winston.

Show some respect. Put an asterisk on the end of his name.

Fairly funny, and a really good start. "Nobody puts Baby in a corner"
My worry is that they'll end up having McHale's character change for the better, or something lame like that. I could stand the one cute girl falling for him eventually, but it would be best if he stayed the way he is (a hilarious asshole) and she keeps on rejecting him. Chevy Chase seems to fit his part well, and too bad there won't be more John Oliver, simply because he is indeed awesome.

Did anyone watch tonight's episode? The montage with McHale and Chase was comedy gold, and the rest of the episode was funny overall as well. This could very well end up being a new favorite of mine.

"Maybe we should talk about Jeff's tardiness."
"Oh, come on, don't use that word in front of Aved."

I love this show. Witty writing.

Except for the spanish presentation this episode was just as devoid of comedy as the first. No thanks.

Oh, man. This show just keeps getting better. Troy dragging himself out of that experiment still makes me laugh any time I think about it.

Yeah, I think this is the only consistently laugh-out-loud show at the moment.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia argues otherwise.

I love Abed's reaction every time she goes into the room.

By the way, the ratings took a huge hit with the timeslot change. Fucking NBC.

I loved Duncan falling victim to the Duncan Principle.

I hope they move it back to its original time slot. KF's post about the show's ratings taking a hit worries me. Because at this point, I love this show. So goddamn funny, especially the last two episodes which have been gold. I'm glad that John Oliver came back, and strangely enough they are making you like Joel McHale's asshole douchebag of a character even more each week.
