So, people on the radio keep talking about HBO's Entreatment and they're making me really, really want to see it.
You mean "In Treatment", the one with Gabriel Byrne? I find it interesting that HBO is attempting to do a daily show.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Boondocks was pretty good tonight. I liked how it dealt with just how selective people can be with history, and how easily you can end up with two versions of it. Plus there was a good deal of funny involved-Riley's ignorant comment that Granddad probably made up slavery too made me laugh unexpectedly. Interestingly how the truth ends up being something inbetween the two extremes.

Oh and they're showing the season finale to Season 1 right now. That episode is fantastic and is one of the best episodes from that season. The opener featuring Reagan in "White Heaven" is comedy gold all by itself.

The show is sort of "real time', with 5 sets of patients, each undergoing the 9-week therapy schedule, so we'll be checking in on their progress each week.

    That means 9x5 = 45 episodes straight.

I trust it's meant to be less boring than it sounds? Because it sounds incredibly boring.

I don't know. This looks awesome.

Also, it's always funny to see Curb Your Enthusiasm wedged into those HBO omnibus previews, the ones that make everything seem so Important.

45*30 minutes seems like way too much for a concept like this.
45*15 or something similar (20*30) would've been better.

I'm glad Josh Charles finally gets to work again, though.

Hmm. Seems like I missed one bit of info that kind of made it sound more interesting.

It's not five patients, five nights, because two of the patients are a couple who go on together on the same night. The Friday shows are actually Byrne's own therapy with a different therapist, and he sums up that week of the show and how the four sessions relate to his own problems.

Highly interesting format, at the very least, if not gimmicky.

Watched an episode of Carpoolers whilst folding some more laundry tonight. I'm in awe of how terrible that show was. Absolute awe.

Anyone follow the Stewart/Colbert/O'Brien thing tonight? Pretty great climax, even if a lot of it was just to waste time.
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.

I caught up with it last week. I'll go search the YouTubes.

Just watched it. I was laughing the whole time. A few tears were shed. I just loved how they made liberal use of their prop houses, especially the brick.

Family Guy is God awful. I just tried watching the last five minutes of it waiting for The Office to come on and Jesus... it was painful.

    You... television... addicted? Impossible.

Actually, I think you would really like The Wire.

I'm not convinced. I think you secretly record Judge Judy and Days of Our Lives, and have amassed all the seasons of Survivor on DVD. You've shown your cards man. I'll never look at you the same way again.
