State of the Union was hilarious last night. I had a ball watching it and the GOP response.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Obama trolled the GOP. Bohner's expressions were hilarious. Ernest didn't embarrass Iowa but her refusal to respond to the SOTU was rather telling.

Wow what the fuck. A debate on free speech at Copenhagen was attacked by a gunman. One attendee dead and three cops injured.

    Oklahoma scariness:

American Thinker blog denounces AP history texts back in Nov. 2014.

OK lawmakers place a ban on said history classes now.

I read this Gamergate piece this morning and I’ve been seeing parallels in methods between conservative lawmakers and conservative gamers. In both cases, these figures build up the need to protect the larger community from the “invasive” forces of progressive thinking and gender/historical equality. Rather than be roundly denounced by everyone, though, the conservative lawmakers are seen as standing up for a cause, and this attitude filters down so that the pro-gamergate contingent can look (up) to law-making gate-keepers as acting out a similar positive force. The danger comes in the form of these emergent communities being silenced, so that the brand of exceptionalism masks the real horrors of under-representation at every level of culture...

The Gamergate movement has been so thoroughly infiltrated by the extreme right wing of American politics that it makes the Young Republican's clubs across the nation seem leftist and liberal. It's quite scary that a lot of the people in the movement - men and women - think they're fighting for some great cause. It's really fascinating from a cultural standpoint.

What it is is a bunch of young 20 year olds who are just now discovering that the world doesn't work the way they thought it did. This is their exposure to the fact that politics and inside-industry stuff (it's now what you know, but who you know) is what drives any industry, especially the games industry, nd industry that is very small and incredible incestuous. Organizations like Breitbart have taken charge of the grass roots movement to shape it into another right wing force.

This plane crash in france, extremely disturbing. Copilot locked out the captain and crashed the airbus straight into a mountain, deliberately. 150 dead, everyone dead.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I'm interested in what happened at Fort Meade. I have to pass the exit to the NSA regularly and it is, like, crazy scary. There are threatening signs and cop card and snipers and stuff.

The Iran deal is hopefully the best deal the US could come up with. I would love it if the moderates somehow gained power in Iran. This keeping in mind the fanatics that are in the US Congress.

blogger critical of islam hacked to death in bangladesh in broad daylight. this is a trend there, not an isolated incident. third one this year.

RIP for this man, and all the brave souls that dare risk their lives across the globe by rightly criticizing these vile, radical, psychotic monsters.

I remember reading that Kim Jung Il chose Kim Jong Un as his successor over older brothers because he saw Kim Jong Un as being the most ruthless of his offspring. Looks like if that's what he was going for, he made the right choice.

Kinda funny. It's Dutch, but basically the actor who played Neville Longbottom has done a photoshoot for a gay magazine. The twitter remarks below are hilarious.
