I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

AMC is going to air the first two seasons in B&W in February.

I know it`s not the reason they did it, but showing the first two seasons of their biggest show only in black and white is kind of a genius way of encouraging the average person to go out and buy them or seek them out on Netflix.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

From what I gather (admittedly from things like my Facebook feed), people watch the all-day marathons of this show any time they're on. Now, they just get a less premium version of it.

That makes me nervous. If this had happened after Season 2, I would have said good riddance. But this season has been great. I dislike production companies and showrunners who depart due to creative differences. 50/50 chance that we'll be getting the worse idea of the two.

FYI, Mazzara only really took over the direction of the show in the second half of S2. Darabont already heavily outlined the first half of S2 before he left and the show stuck to what he'd done. That whole search for Sophia batch of episodes before the break was all Darabont.

Oh, and they're turning Talking Dead into an hourlong show. I love Chris Hardwick as much as anybody, but christ, that is super not necessary.

Yeah, I kind of enjoy the show in its laid-back, "we have no direction or actual pre-production" kind of vibe and I think an hour just means they'll do more bits which isn't necessary. It's a quick-and-dirty paean to the show where the guests just kind of wing it, doesn't really need more substance.

There's also already about 50% commercials, so it will really seem long at an hour.

Just binge-watched ten episodes of Season Two over the past few days. Christ, this show. When it's good, it's impressive. When it's not, it's facepalmingly aggravating.

Once you get past all of it and you get to Season 3, the suffering pays off in the end. Thankfully, because if Season 3 had sucked I would have quit the show.

Season 3 is a major improvement over S2, although the last episode was a touch frustrating. (I think it was meant to be.)

Oh wow. The only real DirectTV ad that was as funny as that one was the one where the guy has to fake his own death.

Season 3 is good and that's from someone who would say Season 2 was garbage.

Ignore Duke. The Season 3 second half opener was pretty good. Season 3 has been consistently great so far, and I don't see that changing. I did not like Season 2 to the point where I even skipped a few episodes.

Well, that's great because I thought Season 2 was some of the best television I had ever seen.

Finished Volume 9 in one sitting. Probably the best yet. Would like to see them go in that direction in the TV show even though they touched on a few of the subplots already. 2-3 episodes of just Carl and Rick doing The Road would be scary to watch.
