Hope what stays? The bad score?

The number 19 is significant throughout the books, or so I've read on twitter.

That's actually kinda of creepy cool. I hope it stays too.

That must be some weird internet thing. I've read dozens of Stephen King books and the number 19 was never apparent.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Haven't read the books, but the number was even emphasized quite a bit in the movie itself. *shrug*

I assumed it was specific to the Dark Tower series. I've read most of Kings books but none of DT. I recall no 19s.

It is mostly limited to the Tower series. There's a lot of silly justifications in that page. "The Mohaine Desert" = 16 letters + 3 words = 19 is about as compelling as that bit in End of Days where the guy tries to prove that 666 = 999, and also add a one, and you get 1999. Holy cow, it all fits!

Ha. THis number came up in the current volume of the Dark Tower I'm reading. Took long enough.

Also, more evidence that Amazon is adapting this.

By far my favorite book series, but man I absolutely hated the movie. I watched a few times, I tried to like it. But you just can't cram 7 books into an hour and a half movie. I was way too disappointed in this. I know they were supposed to make an Amazon original series to expand the story, but I don't think it's 100% confirmed yet. I feel like they could do much more with this. They left out a lot of main characters and plot line and skipped over way too much. If I had gone into the movie knowing it was a 1-time thing and not meant to be a series of movies, maybe I would've expected it to come out like it did. Oh well *shrug*. Books were great. Movie? Meh.
