I kinda like The New Normal too, but if getting rid of it for even a little while means getting Community back in a prime timeslot after Go On, then NBC can go right ahead.

Plus, American Horror Story is coming back, and I'm not sure if I can handle watching two Ryan Murphy shows at the same time.

Chevy Chase has officially left the show before filming all of the S4 episodes.

I feel like this would be a lot more surprisingly and awkward to hear if the season was already airing as originally scheduled, but as things are now, we can just expect from the very start for him to be on his way out before the last couple of episodes, which may sadly be the last ones ever.

I almost forget this show is even coming back, as if the show now only exists in adorable set photos from Alison Brie and less than ideal behind-the-scenes stories leaking out from time to time.

I think it's a good thing. Pierce was the worst main character, and Chase wasn't all that funny.

Unfortunately Chang is still on the show. I won't miss Chevy Chase or the Pierce character, and I felt that it made little sense for them have brought him back for Season 3, especially with how Season 2 ended.

At first I was upset about this, but then I remembered that Chevy Chase has always had problems with how Pierce was written. As well as with making career decisions.

I think I payed 15-20 bucks for Season 3, but I wasn't going to wait. I've bought all 3 seasons of Community the week they've come out on DVD.

I was going to get them on Black Friday, but changed my mind. If a blu-ray set of the whole series comes out though, I'll pounce on that for sure.

Sources confirm to TVLine that the Season 4 finale, which was shot out of sequence once word came down that Chase was exiting, includes a cliffhanger that leaves the fate of several characters up in the air — one of them being Pierce.

As a result, should NBC renew the show for a fifth season, it won’t be tough to explain why Pierce is MIA. “[Episode 413] wasn’t intended to set up his departure,” notes an source. “It just worked out that way.”

WTF? Why would you do a cliffhanger when it's highly likely it won't get a 5th season?

We should all just begin preparing to view the Season 3 finale as the actual series finale at this point. I'm now having bad flashbacks to plenty of shows in the past where they were just canceled without any proper resolution. If this actually happens and the show gets axed, I hope that NBC's 30 Rock Studies gets attacked by angry Community fans.

That's nutty. NBC put up money for the show. It's been shot and probably mostly edited. If nothing else, they'll burn them off over the summer in place of poor-performing reruns.
