You're a bit confused. Parks had nothing to do with it, and has had the same time slot all season. Community was on at 9:30, after The Office. It moved because 30 Rock was coming back. This was the plan all along. Weekend Update Thursday was on for four weeks at 8:00, and when that show finished, Community went to its time slot and 30 Rock came back at its regular slot at 9:30.
Hmm, I completely forgot all about that. Not sure why. My bad.

After seeing another episode of Parks and Recreation, that show is still not funny in my eyes.

Even though the Halloween episode was merely okay (Pierce getting high though was beyond hilarious), the current episode was a nice return to form. By the way, the show's moral lessons seem to be usually burried under snarky jokes and humor, much like what The Simpsons often does. So really I don't find any of them to be all that meaningful, because the writers simply undercut them. The only purpose they have is to make the characters more likable, I guess.

Last week's episode with Jeff and the debate team was far funnier than tonight's. Plus it had Abed predicting the future, which was awesome. Still tonight's episode wasn't all bad, and it had its moments.

So finally the show has hit a bit of a weak stretch. Still I liked that last week they were making fun of the fact that Jack Black was randomly inserted into the show (such as his claims that he had been present for many moments that had previously happened). And of course the countless references to MASH.

This week's episode was decently funny. I wonder if the previous awesome episodes have set the bar a bit too high. The random Abed dance at the end was funny, though.

This show is ridiculously charming, though. Even at its unfunniest, I prefer it to most comedies on TV. I place that sort of likability and friendship vibe much higher than jokes.

I really liked both episodes since its return. I agree with 8 that even when it's not making me laugh out loud, it's still a fun experience mostly due to its charm. The show just has a fun vibe.

    Right on.

I was surprisingly affected by the ending of this recent episode. Credit to the writing, and also to Gillian Jacobs, who I'm finding more and more impressive as an actress.

I've watched 6 episodes of this show today. I am loving it The part where the "Greendale Human Being" shows up is the funniest thing I've seen in ages.

Despite a couple of weak/merely good episodes, this show is awesome. I think you will like it a lot, and I'm glad you're on the viewing wagon.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I'm hoping this sticks around for a good couple of years, even though community college only lasts two years

Plus Annie is still ridiculously hot. Wowza.

I acknowledge the show's weaknesses but it's still my favorite currently airing comedy. It beats out Better Off Ted, The Office and Modern Family.

Caught up to present with the show. I hope this show keeps going. These characters are so likable (and McHale is very good).

I think Modern Family is the best comedy on television right now. Even moreso than It's Always Sunny which I thought wouldn't happen anytime soon.

Glad to hear ABC renewed it for next season.

Tonight's episode was really funny. My favorite part was when after Jeff states that everyone at the table is a potential sex object, the camera pans around, giving everyone's reactions and such. Priceless.

Hey, the entire Derrick Comedy members cameod in this ep.
They're invading the entire NBC comedy universe. DC Pierson had a bit role on 30 Rock recently, and Dominic Dierkes applied for an internship on Parks and Rec.

I saw them do improv at UCB Theater a week and a half ago - they're pretty good.

Man was tonight's episode rather funny, weak ending aside. The whole getting drunk montage was great, and of course so was Senior Chang being, well, Senior Chang. Especially at the Valentine's Day dance-that was beyond disturbing, heh. I'm still feeling that they're slowly building up to Britta-Jeff, but at the same time it doesn't appear to be that way. At least for now.

So glad it's back. It was hilarious, and Abed's Don Draper is amazing.

Best episode of the season so far, maybe? Beyond hilarious, without question. Thanks to Community I will never be able to look at Werewolves of London the same way ever again.

I dunno. I liked it, but I thought the nude pool game pushed things a little too far - although I loved the reaction shots from Annie and the Dean ("...for evidence").
