    I disagree.

Started watching Community. Like it quite a bit. The peripheral characters are the best part though... all of the teachers for instance.

While this week's episode was the weakest one since the pilot, both are rock solid. And it was still quite funny. I liked that they gave Chevy Chase a lot more to do, and McHale was gold at the trial.

Any scene with the Spanish teacher blows my mind in the best way possible.

Haha, this is great. It makes me like Senor Chang a little more than before.

So far Abed and Troy's chemistry is the best. Hopefully the last episode isn't any indication of the quality of the remaining episodes.

Tonight's episode was a return to the consistently funny form that this show has displayed mostly throughout the season. I also agree that Abed and Troy easily have the best dynamic out of all the characters, and I like the little bits with them at the end of each episode.

I actually didn't laugh at all during this last episode. Wasn't bad, just not terribly funny.

I officially have a crush on Alison Brie. Although the line about her being eighteen years old was ridiculous - there's no way that girl isn't in her mid-twenties, at least.

This show's ratings dipped below a 2, and lower than Parks and Recreation. I don't see it sticking around more than a season. And you know, I'm not that broken up about it. It's a fun show and all, but nothing spectacular.

    Huh? Ratings are up:

NBC: "Community" (5.2 million, 3.3/5)/"Parks and Recreation" (5 million, 3.2/5)

Plus it just officially got picked up for a full season.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

You're looking at overall ratings, not ratings in the key demo of 18-49. That's the demo networks care about.

    Community - 1.9
    Parks & Rec - 2.1

A full season isn't a surprise with how miserable NBC is at the moment, and frankly a second season isn't out of the question considering the network, but it's on thin ice, and if it keeps slipping in that demo, as it has since its move to 8, this will be its only season.

Goddamn you NBC for sacrificing a far funnier show for Parks and Reaction. I watched an episode or two of Parks, and the funny just wasn't there. But its clear that they've switched Community with it just because whichever show leads into The Office seems to get solid ratings.

You're a bit confused. Parks had nothing to do with it, and has had the same time slot all season. Community was on at 9:30, after The Office. It moved because 30 Rock was coming back. This was the plan all along. Weekend Update Thursday was on for four weeks at 8:00, and when that show finished, Community went to its time slot and 30 Rock came back at its regular slot at 9:30.

It's also untrue because Parks is funny.

The highlight was Chase getting filmed in Snorricam. I lost my shit.

This was definitely the funniest episode since the pilot. The show needs more of this quality to keep me watching all season though. There have been too many duds. I'm trying too hard to like a show that, for the most part, isn't all that funny. Also, they can drop the moral lessons at the end of every episode.
