I'll probably get used to it and it may only be me, but is there any chance we can drop the hot thread designation? I can tell well enough what threads have posts in them. And that orange color is distracting.
They're turning you on, aren't they? It's okay. They're hot. That's their job. Just go with it.

I have not inherited six generations' worth of sexual repression just to "go with it." The world must conform to my kinks. And I only get off on the cold, hard blues of a non-hot thread. Though I won't admit that publicly and will feel guilty about it later*.

    * This may include some mild self-flagellation.

Don't worry, DD, you've been that for a long time now.
I wish my title reflected it.

I don't know if someone has mentioned it already, but could we go back to hiding post counts? I think displaying them just encourages people to make inane posts.

*Lords over Duncan with his higher post count*

I should have known sex jokes would make their way into this thread sooner or later. We all have our minds in the gutter.

I'd rather not have either. That's my position, and I won't bring it up again.

Agreed on the topic of hiding post counts.

I explained earlier in this thread why I was using the rep system. You're just being difficult at this point.

Well, your "explanation" was that you wanted to do it, so you did. Fair enough. It's your site.

Anyway, I've only had two posts related to the topic, and the second instance was just a response about the primary issue of post counts. I said I wouldn't make it a point to bring it up again, and I won't.

I don't mind the hiding of the post counts, but I like being able to see how many rep points I have. I want to flant 'em man, flant 'em!

Can we at least keep the location?
    Sure why not?

STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9

Actually, my insinuation was that I chose this site and spent about 80 bucks in part because so many people at the old site liked the rep system. It would seem partly a waste if we didn't at least give the feature a chance to work.

Seriously, David. You can always not post on this site.

OK. Let's not go there. I don't want anyone to leave over this. I was just frustrated he seemed so against it when I feel we should at least give it a chance. This site can't be everything to everyone. I would just hope he could ignore the feature instead of pooping on the party.

I am. If that counts for something heh.

It's really not a big deal for me. I'm just here for the posters. I figured my first post would read as an intended over-exaggeration.

I did not realize that was frequently acronymized that way.

Other than the layout, which is still in it's original template stage and needs a lot of work, everything seems to be running very smoothly and I like it. VBulletin is a really smooth applet, and it's worth the 80 dollars. Once the forum is more aesthetically pleasing, it's safe to say I will have no complaints.

    Oh, and rep is fantastic.
