    Connery to return?

    http://breakingnews.iol.ie/entertain...rn-426901.html

I loved Connery in the third one, but bringing back existing characters strikes me as inspirational drought as the return of Marion Ravenwood so abundantly proved. God that was banal.

Didn't they imply that he died?

Aw, I liked seeing her back, even if it ended up being mostly cosmetic to the plot.

And I guess they were vague enough on the subject of Henry that a return might be possible. He did drink from the Grail, after all. Should live a long time.

Ultimately, though, this means a fifth Indy movie, and I'm not interested.

Loved Connery in Last Crusade. I wouldn't be opposed to this. I thought the chemistry between the two were terrific. But seriously, how long is it gonna take to get this going? another 5 years?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

How can you make that mistake? The knight stated that not leaving the temple was the price of immortality.

Sure, but who says the Grail's power can't give someone a little boost, for a while anyway?

Sean Connery doesn't do movies anymore, though, so this is not likely to happen.

And if he was to come back, I hope it's for something less crappy than these new Indy abortions.

What sucks is how flipping profitable these things are. The studio makes bank off merchandising, the three guys on top get huge profit sharing, and overseas is gangbusters.

    The film's quality is incidental.

Yeah, well, I still like KOTCS better than TOD. So, um there! Ah hah!

Damnit I got nuthin'. And yes of course Raiders is the best in the series. Easily. Last Crusade is awesome, and TOD and Skull are fairly rock solid/reliable. Now I'm wary of a fifth installment, because fifth installments in a series usually suck or aren't very good.

And so it was that Madman reveled in his wrongness, as a pig wallows in his own filth.

I take great offense to that. The pig is clearly cleaner than I am.

    Wait damn minute...:|

PS: There are people on this site who don't think Raiders is the best of the bunch. Or don't like Last Crusade. Scold them instead.

I apologize for making the metaphor so pungent, but know that I was just joshing you. You should've been harsher to me - I'm one of those wack-jobs who adores Temple of Doom. And I mean adore. As I said earlier, I'd go see a fifth one if Short Round came back. Technically he's at a good age to help Mutt...

For what it's worth, I objected to Spinal yesterday criticizing Raiders for its mislead about Marion dying, which he thought was poorly done. I offered a counterargument.

I'm afraid I'll watch every new Indiana Jones in the cinema, no matter how poor the reviews are. I just love that character so much.

No apology needed. I can handle the heat, man However, TOD is an entertaining movie, and I can understand why people like it so. And I love Short Round. He's awesome. Much better than Mutt, but Mutt was actually alright, which surprised me.

Good. Cause I don't agree with Spinal. Maybe its because I rarely have a problem with plot holes so long as they do not seriously affect the movie. But then again, I do indeed think she was not in the car when it exploded.

Sure. Why not. Who knows, maybe we'll get an Episode II to our Crystal Skull Episode I. It take my chance on a possibility rather than none.

I can't remember which is worse--Episode I or Episode II. They are both in the mind-file labeled "FUCK."

Episode II is the worst of the Star Wars series. Hands down.
