Here's what I'd get to have a really full game.

Maybe add a few of the packs of cards from the Flying Frog website for more variety in the encounters.

Besides Shadows of Brimstone, my other favorite dungeon crawl is Secrets of the Lost Tomb.

Everything Epic Games just today launched their Kickstarter for Secrets of the Lost Station - a space-crawl. I'm all in on this one.

Check it out. Lost Tomb went OOP pretty quickly.

That Secrets of Lost Station game looks super fun on a rainy/cold day, but I'm saving up all my allowance for this game.

Megs - it's like the movie John Carpenter's The Thing, but a board game.

Looks cool. Looks a lot like Dead of Winter. Hoping it adds something different to the mix.

    I don't follow.

Do I need a PC to play this?

    My internet isn't great.

Youll probably have to upgrade your table.

Okay, so I watched that Secrets of the Lost Station video and it looks awfully tempting - looks kinda like Betrayal at House on Haunted Hill, but in space, and with no traitors. Need to sleep on this one.

Here's the gist: Just imagine you're watching John Carpenter's The Thing. But instead, you're playing a board game.

    Not with your internet limitations.

Here's the thing: it's a board game version of the movie The Thing.

    The bandwidth requirements are staggering.

Not to mention the table width requirements.

But then again, what else would you expect from a board game version of The Thing.

You know what I'd love to see attempted?

A board game version of The Thing.

I think that could really work well.

Wonder if anyone out there is working on it?

Heard there's a good game out there already. I think it's for PS4.

    Yeah - and it's called Fallout 4.

So, I watched the video, obsessed about it for a few days, and wound up backing this.

YES! It's not looking good for their funding, though. It's really weird. Especially seeing as how they have a couple of high-profile IP-based games coming out - Big Trouble in Little China and Rambo.

Hopefully they get more interest this week at GenCon.

I'm stoked for that one but I really cannot afford to spend $250 on a board game KS in the coming weeks.

If I get some unexpected surge of cash I will definitely back it.

Get back on that street corner.
