"Imagine a hungry wolf. Or like when you put a cat in the bath. You grab a cat by the throat and stuff it under the fucking water. You know what it looks like? That's what I'm going to look like. But like a puma. Very hungry and very dangerous. It's imperative. This is the kind of guy who's not well. So I have to create that reality."
    This made me lol.

    It's like a parody of method-actor blather.

    Okay, latest news -

The reason for the year-long desert shoot is because it's not just one film, but two being shot back-to-back for immediate release. And, WETA is doing costume design, practical effects and concept work.

So, wait - he goes from not even making two films a decade to making three in the space of two years? What happened?

This could be decent. But I'll hold off further comments until a trailer materializes.

Hey, if it stinks, Hardy will wake up and find himself back in Nolan's flick!

Probably, heh. But I'm hoping this is a worthy sequel-the second one is great, and from what I recall the third one was also good.

Here's some pictures floating around the net that everyone are calling the "first pics of Fury Road's vehicles." What do you make of them?

They're pretty narrow-framed pictures of various gigantic wheels and vehicle parts.

Is that a small tank? Hm. Perhaps they're already getting carried away when all they need is badass cars.

The two films together will have approximately 130 cars and bikes, and 298 stunts. All practically filmed. Geezus.

I see no point in a Mad Max movie without Mel Gibson.

And I also don't see a way to top the second one.
    ^ This, good god.

Fury Road is going to do for Mad Max what Crystal Skull did for Indy. :| Mad Max sequels are a cash-in retirement package for the producers.

I predict Miller's going to make a fool of himself with sequels full of CGI stunts.

    Yeah, I know. I don't believe them.

If they had made Fury Road in the early, 1990s, okay. But in 2010? No way they're going to shoot this thing using just practical effects.
