    Book swap?

On the old forum - quite a long time ago - we had a book swap.

I remember it well because I got "Einstein's Dreams" from D_Davis, and loved it.

Would there be any interest here for another book swap?

Really? Were there troubles getting the books back and forth between people?

It's okay. I was my recommendation, but I'm not mad. You are absolved.

Anyway, the last swap went very poorly. There were only a handful of people who did reviews (I still owe a review to Chico, but I did read his book and tell him I loved it), and I'm guessing that those who didn't, didn't bother to read the books. Every book swap has gone the same way. I'd like to do one, but I don't feel right about signing up for a swap when I didn't complete the last one.

Hmmm... book swap. I suppose my hesitation is that while I try to watch six to ten films every week (with a target of seeing something like 500 a year), a really good year will yield maybe 20 books read. Also, while I am still working on my training wheels with writing about film, I've never really tried my hand at literary criticism.

But if it gets going, I might very well be interested. My over-developed guilt system won't let me flake out if I actually sign up.
