I swore Spinal listed Brave Little Toaster in his Top 100.
    Sure why not?

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

Oh, man. I should've put it on mine. Thought I had. Whoops. It's on the list at all, though, so that's pretty awesome!

Well, it's exciting to have at least made the Top 25.

Woot! Limbo makes the cut! Trans, you're a good man.

When I first posted my top 100 at RT, someone described it as "AFI's list with foreign films." Looking back, it was an accurate assessment. There were a lot of titles like Casablanca, Citizen Kane, The Godfather, Gone with the Wind and other films that I like and respect, but do not love. In retrospect, it's an embarrassing list. (On the other hand, the film with the number one spot has not changed.)

It's nice to know that I have now achieved "maverick" status.

Biggest surprise absentee from the list for me: The Bridge on the River Kwai

Are you suggesting that my list is conventional? If so, dammit . . . I agree.

I've made other lists, where I tried way too hard to be hip and different. But I was citing movies I didn't really love. Casablanca, Kane and Godfather are all on my list, and I seriously love them. They are all films I've revisted throughout my adulthood and, upon subsequent viewings, have continued to grow in my esteem.

Gone With the Wind is balls though. I've always thought so. Shriveled, hairy, sweaty, smelly, urine color-toned balls.

It was on my old top 100, but I ditched it in favor of other films I've seen since making that list.

Corrections to a project this massive are probably going to be annoying, so apologies in advance.

But this is #49 on my list.

I wasn't trying to make a comment on your list. Sorry if it seemed like that. I was just remarking about my maverick-ness.

I've made other lists, where I tried way too hard to be hip and different. But I was citing movies I didn't really love. Your list is better than my list, circa 2003. It is the phoniest goddamn thing I've ever seen. I don't know who I was kidding.

This is why Benny should have posted a list. This film would have been even higher. But I'm happy to be noticed as the poster who had it highest on his or her list.

Antoine, I've seen more films on that list than any of the others besides my own. Because I've had to.

That's depressing. We need him back here. I hate for this to sound more sentimental than it needs to be, but I really miss him around here.
