For the first episode they appeared to have adopted an "everything but the kitchen sink" approach in order to grab viewers as rapidly as possible. It was okay for a start with some surprisingly cool FX, but also some real cringers. Yeah, "come with me if you want to live" was a particularly nasty, albeit brief, moment of crapoola. There's a lot of heavy dialogue that really fails to match the tone in T2: Judgment Day for the time being, but I'm enjoying the show so far because who the hell expects something on a par with Cameron's work anyway?
I was sorta freaked out by the helmet-wearing terminator in episode 3. I was thinking "how can he be wearing a helmet without his skeletal head?" And then he took the helmet off. Whoa!!! Pretty freaky.
Summer Glau is ok. She does look kinda robotic and mean which is good.
