I don't care who you root for, that was no TD.

Yeah, I didn't think he had control until after his shoulder was out of bounds. If it was ruled a TD on the field, I can understand upholding, but it really shouldn't have been overturned.

Exactly. How they saw anything worthy of overturning the incomplete pass call is perplexing.

Also perplexing is Oregon's refusal to abandon the running game, even in the two minute drill, even though it hasn't been working all game (at least what I've seen).

The only logical explanation is that Spinal has psychic powers and influenced the refs.

We were so close to having no SEC team in the title game.

Fuck you, Oregon. I hate you even more now than I ever have.

So essentially, looking at the BCS standings, if ND loses next weekend, it will be an all SEC title game again, no matter what happens in the last week.

At this rate, to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he misses this kick.

EDIT: Forget everything I said; also, murder me.

    But most importantly, Congrats, Spinal!

Fuck. Notre Dame vs. SEC was the worst possible scenario. Ugh.

It'll be fun watching them get annihilated. Sort of. Blech.

    Crying Oregon fans are funny.

Understood. Well, congrats to you, sir. I'm far less upset about this than I am the K-State loss.

This. Though my restaurant will lose a lot of money because we were going to host the Pac-12 Conference hierarchy the day before the Championship.

So do I root for Barkley to be healthy enough to beat the Irish next week? Or do I dread another SEC-v.-SEC national championship even more than one including the Golden Domers?

Really wish this was not a question I needed to be asking.

    Not without Barkley.

If USC beats Notre Dame, it should be SEC vs. Oregon IMHO (assuming Oregon beats OSU). This is a pretty questionable loss for Oregon given the overturned incompletion resulting in a seven for Stanford. Doesn't seem right that two SEC teams jump ahead just because of timing (though it's inevitable).

Yeah, it's gonna happen. 4-9 in the BCS rankings are SEC teams. No way does it shake out that two SEC teams don't make the title game if ND loses. The SEC title winner (Alabama/Georgia?) and whoever didn't have to play in the title game and finished with one loss (Florida?).
