How could one hate Thanksgiving? It's probably the most relaxed of holidays, and you eat great food. Only Christmas wins out because you get shit.

Yeah, lucky you! While we're all eating turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie today, you get to have regular, every day food.

I'm listening to a discussion in the other room in which everyone is agreeing that all of the employees at my city zoo (where three pandas have died in the last year due to incompetence) should be put in prison and repeatedly raped as punishment.

    Ahh, family.

This is why, in terms of family celebrations, I'm down to just Christmas. Except replace panda mistreatment with celebrity relationships and weights.

Not really, I don't like turkey all that much

    Our Thanksgiving dinner consisted of...

    -fresh salmon fillets
-beef tips in a creamy sauce
    -barbecued chicken breasts
-triple cheese tortellini in a tomato sauce
    -mashed potatoes
    -baked beans
    -corn casserole
    -spicey rice
    -stir-fried green beans with bacon
    -fresh rolls

And then just as many desserts...

    -2 apple pies
    -2 pumpkin pies
    -lemon raspberry cake
    -sex in a pan
    -rice krispie squares
    -assorted cookies and squares

Sounds like a lot, but there were more than 20 people at our place for dinner...there was almost nothing left.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

My wife's family loves the wine. The rum is how I keep up.

I had two Thanksgiving dinners this year. I think I've gained 10 pounds.
