. . .but I did love Alien From LA in terms of laughs (my God that film is beyond awful).
A buddy of mine likes bad movies, but doesn't like MST3K for some reason. It's kind of annoying, 'cause he keeps lending me stuff and I have to sift through the shit to find something worth seeing. He lent me a double-feature with Alien From LA but now that I know it's a MST3K movie, I'd rather just watch that instead.

He recently got a copy of Hobgoblins, too. I told him to watch the MST3K version, but I don't think he will. It's really kind of depressing.

Half the time MSTK enables me to make it through really bad movies. Although one movie I quit on about 20 minutes in was a supposedly great one.

Which? If it was Manos: Hands of Fate, hang your head in shame, MadMan. IN SHAME.

If it was "Monster a-Go-Go," I'd understand. That's one episode where they completely fail to enliven the feature (it's not their fault in that case). At least Manos has a kind of demented imagination, with the Master and Torgo and the bride fight and the hints of eldritch lore.

I stand by my repeated statement that Red Zone Cuba is the worst thing they ever mocked. It was so bad, they couldn't even make it funny. It's so godawful boring.

I haven't seen that one because of statements like this.

Easily the worst. They couldn't even say anything funny about it because it's so bad.

Manos was so bad I struggled even getting through the MSTy version. RZC is horrendous...very boring.

In case any of you are feeling particularly masochistic ... here's the Red Zone Cuba episode!! Good luck.

    You'll need it.

In RZC, I don't thing the actors were ever (maybe rarely) in the same room together for their dialog scenes. At least that's how I remember it.

I've made it all the way through Manos minus the MSTK commentary twice. I thought my brain was going to melt but I survived.

Right now I'm on The Mole People. I put Gamera and The Final Sacrifice on my Instant Viewing queue. And yes I'll be checking YouTube as well for any and all episodes. I've got 10 years worth to catch up on, although I did view the series finale. Too bad I watched it before I had seen any Bava movies so I didn't really get that it was actually supposed to be a spoof of spy movies.

Mole People is wonderful. The black-and-white sci-fi's are my favorites.

For the first time in years, MST3K Turkey Day is happening online right now on Youtube, with episodes selected by Hodgson.

Right now it's "I Accuse My Parents." I don't know what the rest of the line-up is, but it's sure to be great.

Mole People was really funny. I had seen it years ago on SyFy so it was nice to rewatch it again. John Agar might be the worst actor of all time. I wish I had turned in for the marathon.

I feel like if there's ever going to be any chance at a revival show or any sort of new installments, it's going to be soon, what with the 25th anniversery, Turkey Day 2013(Servo and Crow cameo!), Joel's favorable statements towards doing MST3k online and also guesting on Rifftrax... the spirit is in the air.

The very end of the last segment. Granted, it was just the puppets, no lines, but since Jim Mallon's traditionally been very conservative with letting them be used anywhere, it's pretty cool.

Oh snap, I forgot about the Arrested Development cameo! Trace actually voiced Crow in that one.

    Turkey Day 2014!

    Live stream.

The bots have been stopping by, but it's a little awkward, 'cause Trace and Josh recorded voice-overs and someone else is puppeteering. (Huh?)
