It'll be absolutely awful. Anthony Mackie is in it as Tupac, so I may see it for that on DVD.

Hard to get a feel for anything in that teaser. It basically plays like a rap video. This is not a good thing.

I came in expecting this to be a remake of Hitchcock's film.

With a CGIed phoenix-risen Notorious B.I.G. in the Claude Rains role.

I am skeptical that there is much about this man's life story that I will find edifying.

As did I. I'm much more comfortable with someone walking over Biggie Smalls' life than I am Hitchcock's film. Does that make me a bad person?

I'm more interested in Stallone's version.

    Seriously.

It's very very horrible, sir. It's one of those things we wish we could disinvent.

Derek Luke is playing Sean "Puff Daddy/Diddy whatever the fuck his name is now" Combs.

    Ehhhhhhhhh..........

And there's a new trailer now. I'm still skeptical (it IS coming out in January), but interested at the same time.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Which is really the only good thing about that movie thus far.

But that's a very good thing.
