After those two posts, I'm wondering if Minnesota should be on the list.

The other part of the problem is that Sofia Coppola is much better behind the camera than she is in front of it.

Bah I like Vanilla wafers. But yeah I can only eat Vanilla Ice cream if its mixed in with chocolate. Or if it has cookies and cream or chocolate chips in it. Otherwise vanilla is just too bland to eat.

    Losing a sucky job

While it always sucks to be fired, you didn't really like that job anyway. You know that it was beneath you so you probably weren't even doing the best that you could. In fact, this is the exact kick in the pants you needed to go out and get that perfect job you've been wanting. If only you knew what that was. Or where to find it. Or if you're qualified for it. Maybe you should have tried to keep that other job until you found the knew one. What the hell are you going to do without a paycheck coming in? It's not like you were saving money the whole time. It's not like they were paying you enough to save! Screw that old job. You didn't like it anyway. Meh - whatever. What's on tv?

^ Yeah, the hell with that sucky job. You can just go and but lottery tickets with your last check anyway. :|

    Chili's

Whenever we go out to eat with a big group of people we usually end up at Chili's. Why? Because it's so neutral. Nobody hates Chili's, so it just becomes a default destination. I guess the ribs are ok, but they are far from the best I've had. There really is nothing special on the menu at all. I usually sit there staring at it thinking about how nothing really looks great. Again, it's not bad by any means, but there are so many better places to go. Of course, there are also so many worse places to go. So, in the end, a big meh.

I have actually said "meh" to the suggestion of Chili's. This post rings true.

The fact that they have one of the most annoying ad jingles in the history of ad jingles makes Chili's something less than "meh".

Were you with a group of people? I always find it more common that way. I used to get the Chili's Cheesesteak and fries until I saw how many calories and how much fat is in it.

I wasn't really factoring in the song, but it is pretty bad.

Chili's is good, at least a little better than 'meh.' It is Applebee's that is the 'meh.'

Indeed. I haven't eaten at either for two years or so. Probably longer.

Chili's is strong with the "meh."

    Applebee's is just godawful.

I like Applebees a bit more, but both they and Chili's are very meh. Outback Steakhouse blows both out of the water easily.

The 1st Season of The Office

I remember the hype about this great Britcom that they were going to make for American audiences and how hilarious it was going to be. Can I say that I'm so surprised (and happy) that they didn't pull the plug after the first season. Steve Carell hadn't quite figured out how to pull off Michael's character yet, and the rest of the cast wasn't helping much. It wasn't bad and it definitely had it's moments, but overall it was just hit or miss. It's really come into its own now, but back then... meh.

Meh, I have no interest in that show. Good job, I guess.

I've actually never eaten at Chilis. Meh.

Yeah Season 1 of The Office has already faded from memory. Seasons 2 and 3 blow it out the water, and even though I haven't seen anything beyond the first episode I can't imagine Season 4 being worse than Season 1. I gave Season 1 a "C" and that was being kind.

PS: You know I just realized that the "C" grade is also "meh." Its not a bad grade like a D or an F, but its not a really good grade like a B or an A. Its just a C. It means you tried hard enough to pass, but not hard enough to get a grade worth really being happy about.

Things in The Office didn't really get going until Diversity Day, which is somewhere in the first season. Basketball is also pretty good.
